Dr. Agalya Kandavelu is a distinguished Physiatrist delivering advanced, evidence-based neurorehabilitation and pain care across the full continuum of recovery. She specializes in stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, pediatric disabilities, cancer pain, and complex orthopedic conditions.
She has served at premier institutions including Aster Medcity, Kochi, and currently works as Senior Resident in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Indira Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Puducherry.
Recipient of the Best Young Scientist Award at AOCPRM 2025. Active researcher, faculty speaker, and advocate for community-based rehabilitation and palliative care awareness.
